Now in its second year, PIPOL mgZn presents “Sexiest of the Year,” a special recognition under the prestigious VP Choice Awards.
The award honors individuals who embody a fit and healthy lifestyle while showcasing grace, elegance, originality, and confidence as seen through the lens of the Filipino audience—the PIPOL’s Choice.
The search recognizes both male and female personalities with a strong public presence—individuals who radiate sex appeal, charisma, confidence, and substance beyond physical appearance.
This special recognition further expands the VP Choice Awards’ roster of personalities deserving of national recognition.
SELECTION PROCESS & TIMELINE
The PIPOL Sexiest Year 2 search will run from October 2026 to February 2027 through public nominations, monthly voting rounds, and final voting.
Each month, 20 nominees per category will be selected to compete in the monthly voting round. The Top 10 nominees per category, based on the monthly public voting results, will advance to the final stage.
After three monthly rounds, the search will produce 30 finalists per category—10 finalists from each monthly round. These finalists will compete in the final voting stage from January to February 2027.
Final rankings will be determined through a combination of public voting, evaluation by the Panel of Experts, and assessment by the PIPOL Editorial Team.
The Top 3 winners in each category will be recognized at the 8th VP Choice Awards Night in April 2027.
Official Timeline
October 5, 2026 – November 30, 2026 – Public nominations open through the official VP Choice Awards and PIPOL mgZn platforms.
October 15–November 5, 2026 – First Round of Voting. Twenty nominees per category compete, with the Top 10 advancing to the final stage.
November 12–December 3, 2026 – Second Round of Voting. Twenty nominees per category compete, with the Top 10 advancing to the final stage.
December 10–31, 2026 – Third Round of Voting. Twenty nominees per category compete, with the Top 10 advancing to the final stage.
January 14–February 15, 2027 – Final Voting for the 30 finalists in each category.
April 2027 – Awarding ceremony at the 8th VP Choice Awards Night.
Following the final voting period, the VP Choice Awards and PIPOL Editorial Team, together with the Panel of Experts, will conduct the final deliberations.

- Models and fitness enthusiasts
General Criteria:
- Must be a Filipino citizen
- Must have a positive public reputation
- Must embody sexiness with substance, showcasing confidence, originality, and elegance
Age Requirement:
- 18–55 years old
- Open to both male and female

The Village Pipol and PIPOL mgZn Editorial Teams will evaluate all entries and shortlist 20 qualified nominees per category each month, based on eligibility, public nominations, editorial deliberations, and agency submissions. Public nominations is open until November 30, 2026.
Important Reminder
Nominees who do not advance to the monthly Top 10 may still qualify for consideration in subsequent rounds if they continue to receive public nominations within the official nomination period.
VOTING MECHANICS
Voting will take place through the Pi-PoLL App and web portal, powered by Choicely. The platform will support both the monthly voting rounds and the final voting stage.

Voting Guidelines
Each user receives 10 free votes daily.
Voters may avail vote boost packages for additional voting power, subject to the official voting rules.
The Top 10 nominees per category in each monthly round will advance to the final stage.

FINAL SELECTION CRITERIA
The final rankings will be determined using the following criteria:
PIPOL’s Vote: 50%
Panel of Experts: 25%
PIPOL Editorial Team: 25%
These criteria combine public participation with expert evaluation and editorial assessment in determining the final rankings.
Final deliberations will take place after the final voting period and ahead of the 8th VP Choice Awards Night in April 2027.

PIPOL Sexiest Year 2 will recognize its finalists and winners through the following awards and opportunities:
Top 30 Finalists: All 30 finalists in each category will receive invitations to the 8th VP Choice Awards Night in April 2027.
Top 3 Winners: The three highest-ranked personalities in each category will receive the VPCA Black Obelisk Trophy.
Editorial Features: All Top 3 winners will receive editorial features in Village Pipol and PIPOL mgZn.
PIPOL mgZn Print Feature: The Top 30 finalists will be featured in the PIPOL mgZn Annual Print Issue.
Magazine Cover Opportunity: The No. 1 winner in each category will receive an offer for a magazine cover feature, subject to availability, management approval, and final arrangements.
