Yes My Love: In Tune with Each Other
Finding harmony is easier said than done. In a world that constantly demands more, many people spend their lives trying to strike a balance between ambition and rest, individuality and belonging, vulnerability and strength. We try and search for the right rhythm, hoping that somehow all the different parts of our lives will eventually fall into place.
For Yes My Love, harmony has always been at the center of what they do.
Yes My Love is instantly recognizable through their harmonies. Their voices blend effortlessly, breathing new life into beloved OPM classics while gradually carving out a sound they can call their own. But spend time with the five-piece vocal group, and it becomes clear that what audiences hear onstage is only one part of the story.
Long before every chorus falls perfectly into place, there is another kind of harmony at work. One built on trust, respect, empathy, and years of choosing each other every single day.
It is this quiet brotherhood, more than anything else, that has become the foundation of Yes My Love.
RESPECT BEFORE BROTHERHOOD
Unlike many groups whose friendships existed before the spotlight, Yes My Love’s story began differently.
Individually handpicked by Cornerstone Entertainment to become one group, they entered the journey not as close friends but as artists learning how to work, and eventually live alongside one another.
For Josh, the relationship didn’t happen overnight.
"We were pretty chill with each other in the beginning," he recalls. "We had mutual respect right from the get-go. We respected each other's time and space. Eventually, we grew close."
That mutual respect became the group’s common ground. Differences in personalities and opinions naturally surfaced, but having a shared goal allowed those differences to strengthen rather than divide them.
Even today, they acknowledge that reaching decisions isn’t always easy. Yet every conversation begins with the same understanding: respect first, everything else follows.
LEARNING EACH OTHER'S SILENCE
Three years together have taught the members something beyond vocal technique: they’ve learned how to read one another without words.
Whether it’s noticing when someone isn’t feeling well before stepping onstage or instinctively adjusting during a performance, their connection has evolved into something almost intuitive.
"We're empaths," Bry shares. "Before we even go onstage, we can already feel if someone isn't okay."
That understanding extends beyond performances.
If one member loses his voice, another willingly takes over difficult vocal parts. If someone feels overwhelmed, the others encourage him to step back and rest. Even outside of work, they intentionally create time to reconnect, often through simple overnight trips and heartfelt conversations that have little to do with music.
For Niko, those moments remind him where their real strength lies.
"Mag-away-away na lahat. Basta kami magkakampi,” he says with a smile.
It is perhaps the simplest description of their relationship, and the most telling.
CHOOSING AUTHENTICITY EVERY TIME
For a group whose performances often carry deep emotion, pretending has never been part of the process.
"I don't protect my heart at all," Niko admits. "If I don't feel the song, I won't be able to make other people feel it."
That vulnerability is something all five members embrace.
Josh describes himself as both a performer and a storyteller, though he hesitates to call himself “performative.” For him, every performance begins with internalizing the emotion behind a song before sharing it with an audience.
"It's important that it stays real," he explains. "At the end of the day, we're storytellers."
Jeff echoes that same philosophy. Known as one of the group’s brightest personalities, he believes genuine energy is something people naturally recognize.
"When I don't feel good, the boys would know," he says. "There's no need to fake my current situation."
In an industry where artists are often expected to smile through exhaustion, that honesty has become one of Yes My Love’s greatest strengths. Their authenticity isn’t carefully manufactured, it grows from the comfort of knowing they don’t have to pretend around one another.
FINDING THEIR OWN VOICE
While audiences first embraced Yes My Love through their heartfelt interpretations of OPM classics, the group now finds itself entering unfamiliar and exciting territory.
They’re no longer simply interpreting someone else’s stories. They’re finally telling their own.
The upcoming album will feature original songs largely written from the members’ personal experiences, revealing the struggles, dreams, and emotions that fans rarely see beyond the stage.
"It's not just about what people see outside," Niko shares. "We also have struggles as artists that aren't talked about all the time."
Their creative process has become increasingly collaborative as well.
RZ, whose musical growth has earned praise from his fellow members, has stepped into producing and vocal arranging, helping shape what Josh calls the group’s “quintessential” harmonies. The quietest member of the group has quietly become one of its strongest creative forces, with his bandmates describing him as focused, dependable, and relentlessly goal-oriented.
Together, they’re creating music that reflects not only their individual journeys but the collective story they’ve built over the years.
THE NEXT CHAPTER, TOGETHER
As Yes My Love gears up for their highly anticipated “PULSO: The First Concert” on August 8, 2026, at the SM North EDSA Skydome, alongside the release of their first full-length album, excitement continues to build.
The members admit they’re still refining both the music and the story they want to tell onstage, making sure every song contributes to one cohesive experience.
For them, this isn’t simply another release. It’s the beginning of a new era. One built not on covers, but on their own voices. Not just on harmonies, but on honesty.
And not only on five singers sharing one stage, but on five brothers who have learned that the strongest harmony isn’t always the one audiences hear. It’s the one they’ve spent years creating together.
