Big things are coming for The Juans this 2025

As The Juans celebrate their 10th anniversary, they’re turning the page to an exciting new chapter. And trust us, 2025 is shaping up to be their biggest year yet.

You love the songs. You feel the energy. And you surely know how Filipino band The Juans has been giving us life (and feels!) since day one, with hits like “Hindi Tayo Pwede” that stir your emotions and “Tama Ka Na” ” that have you singing every word at the top of your lungs.

“We’re working on a full album that we’re really excited for people to hear,” says Carl Guevarra, lead vocalist and keyboardist. “It’s got that familiar hugot that everyone loves pero this time, we’re also exploring new themes.”

RJ Cruz, the band’s acoustic guitarist, hints that they’re adding more fun and color to their music. “Each member is stepping up to take a bigger role in shaping the band’s sound this time. We’re not just sticking to what’s familiar—trying kami this time ng ibang genres and we’ll push our creative boundaries to bring something fresh sa fans,” RJ shares.

But that’s just the beginning. The Juans also have a tour planned across the Philippines and abroad. “We’re looking forward to connecting with Juanistas again,” Carl adds. “It’s going to be a year of growth for us and our fans.”

With sold-out shows under their belt, The Juans have shown us just how great they are at connecting with the crowd. Over the year, the band has fine-tuned their sound, and lead guitarist Japs Mendoza credits their live shows for that.

“Iba talaga ang energy ng crowd,” Japs explains. “We love testing new songs in our live shows and seeing how people react. If we’re excited, they’re excited. If we’re feeling something deep, they’re feeling it too.”

What’s Next

If you’ve been listening to their hits, you know The Juans aren’t afraid to get real. Bassist Chael Adriano is eager to keep building on that momentum.

“We plan to release more tracks that explore our journey through relationships, healing, and finding our way.”

And that journey, reflected not only in their music but also in their identity, from their lyrics to their logo.

Before The Juans were known for their unique sound and success, they were just a group of “mga simpleng juan na nangangarap at patuloy nagsusumikap” as Carl often says. Despite the challenges, they continue to chase their dreams, guided by the words their logo represents: “By His stripes, we are healed. Three days later, He rose from the dead.”

The bold, three-stripe design may look simple, but for the members, it’s a symbol of their faith and heart. It reflects their determination to rise stronger with every challenge, a journey they’ve lived out over the past decade.

Looking ahead, it’s clear they’ve only just begun. With a full album on the way, a jam-packed year of touring, and music that continues to evolve, there’s no telling where The Juans will take us next!
