Filipino basketball fans were treated to a free public viewing party to witness Utsunomiya Brex and Ryukyu Golden Kings square off live from the Yokohama Arena in Japan. Fans followed every thrilling play, which resulted in a dominant performance by the Utsunomiya Brex, with an 81-68 victory over the Ryukyu Golden Kings in Game 1, showcasing masterful offense and defense.

The Utsunomiya Brex’s sharp-shooting was on full display with an impressive 16 three-pointers from various players. The Brex’s aggressive defense also kept the Golden Kings on their toes throughout the game, which limited the latter team’s scoring opportunities.

With Utsunomiya Brex holding the lead in Game 1, the question remains: who will win Game 2 and take another step towards the coveted B.LEAGUE championship?

The B.LEAGUE Final Week in Manila 2025, made possible with the enthusiastic support of Cignal, the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines, the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP).
