Miss Kayce Brings Style, Stories, and Sustainable Fashion Together This August 

Sustainable stylist, speaker, and MadeCHIC founder KC Leyco, author of Always Be Chic by Miss Kayce, is set for a weekend of creativity and conscious fashion with two back-to-back public events this August. 

On August 14, 2026, KC Leyco will present her Style Workshop for Authors at the Philippine Readers & Writers Festival by National Book Store as part of PaperKat Books’ lineup of talks and workshops. Expanding on the practical style philosophy shared in her book, Always Be Chic by Miss Kayce, the workshop offers writers and creatives practical styling insights that help them 

feel more confident, authentic, and less overwhelmed when dressing for book launches, speaking engagements, media appearances, and everyday life. Copies of her book will also be available during the festival. This will give readers the opportunity to have their books personally signed by the author. 

Denim discovery in San Juan

The following day, August 15, 2026, Miss Kayce hosts Denim Dreams: A MadeCHIC Experience at Comunidad Café, San Juan. Open to the public, the intimate afternoon invites guests to explore a thoughtfully curated collection of reclaimed denim, enjoy a complimentary Denim Discovery Session, and discover how styling and upcycling can give garments a meaningful second life. The experience also features MadeCHIC’s Denim Dream Bar, offering customization and personalization services. 

Adding a unique touch to the experience, Septakademika PH will be offering donation-based Tarot readings throughout the event. Holding space for creativity, reflection, and self-expression alongside mindful fashion. 

From authors and creatives to denim lovers and slow fashion advocates, this back-to-back weekend celebrates personal style, creativity, and conscious living.
