Bando: Manila’s New Hip-Hop Playground

The wait is over, Manila! Bando, the city’s first-ever club dedicated exclusively to the hip-hop scene, is now officially open and ready to take your nightlife to the next level. If you live and breathe rap, R&B, and everything in between, then you need to know about this epic new spot.

Bando isn’t just a club – it’s a whole vibe. This isn’t your average nightlife destination. Inspired by the artistic genius of the Renaissance mixed with the raw energy of hip-hop culture, Bando is a place where history and modern street style collide. Think iconic art meets turntables, a slick sound system, and a lineup that’ll make your head spin. Whether you’re out with your crew or flying solo, Bando promises to deliver an unforgettable experience every night.

Dream Project

This dream project is the brainchild of eight passionate partners, Kobe Paras, Anton Yalung, Gian Hernandez, Nikko Alcalde, LJ Canavan, Benj Sadic, Robert LaGuardia, and Lawrence Rufino. Despite coming from different walks of life, these guys are united by one goal: to bring hip-hop lovers together under one roof. They’ve spent over a year meticulously putting everything in place to make Bando a reality.

“Music is the heart and soul of Bando. Our top priority is music curation. Since our soft opening in February, we have been fortunate to collaborate with some of the top local DJs, including Duaneinsane, Steelo, Platon, Tomas Felix, Butta B, and more. We also plan to feature international DJs during their tours, providing Manila’s hip-hop fans with a taste of diverse musical cultures,”

Robert LaGuardia, who leads Concept Development & Business Operations.

Since its soft opening in February, Bando has already hosted some of the city’s top local talent, and they’re just getting started. Expect to see a killer lineup of Filipino DJs every week, plus some seriously hot international acts on tour. Whether you’re into rap bangers or smooth R&B, you can be sure the DJ booth is always spinning something fresh.

“As friends who frequently went out together, creating a venue that exclusively celebrates our favorite genre—hip-hop—has always been a dream. Lawrence (Operations Lead) presented us with the opportunity to open Bando in Makati Cinema Square, and it took us about a year to bring this vision to life,”

shares Kobe Paras, who oversees PR and Marketing.

And trust, Bando’s vibe is just as fresh as the music. Spread across two floors, the venue, designed with a sleek modern Renaissance aesthetic – it’s like stepping into a next-level gallery where hip-hop is the art. Moreover, you can expect top-tier production value, from the sound system to the visuals, making every night feel like a high-energy experience you won’t forget.
