CreaZion Studios: Big Slate For 2025

With Isang Himala’s overwhelmingly positive critical run in the last quarter of 2024, one asks what’s next for CreaZion Studios? For 2025, CreaZion Studios outlines its biggest projects for the year’s first half. In these projects, the studio partnered with influential studios worldwide like Match Factory, KBS, Mubi, AGC, Blackbear Pictures and A24.

International Movie Runs

Starting the year strong, CreaZion Studios brings international films to Southeast Asian audiences. First, they’re offering re-runs of MUBI’s The Substance, written and directed by Coralie Fargeat and starring Demi Moore, who recently won the 2025 Golden Globe for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture ( Musical or Comedy) and Oscar nomination for Lead Actress. With Demi’s win, CreaZion Studios invites you to relive one of Hollywood’s most talked-about body-horror films of 2024 in UP Film Institues and Ayala Cinemas.

Premiering this summer, CreaZion Studios presents an adventure film for Filipino families: A24’s The Legend of Ochi, written and directed by Isaiah Saxon and starring Helena Zengel, Finn Wolfhard, Emily Watson, and Willem Dafoe. According to A24, the film takes place in a remote village on the island of Carpathia, where a shy farm girl named Yuri is raised to fear an elusive creature known as Ochi. However, when she discovers a wounded baby Ochi left behind, Yuri makes it her mission to bring it home. It premiered at the Sundance Film Festival last January 25. Based on early reviews from outlets like The Hollywood Reporter and Deadline, some critics were impressed to see a family film that blends live action, technical puppetry, and a fun story—without overusing digital enhancements. It’s a visual treat for the whole family.

From horror to adventure to action-thriller, CreaZion Studios ups the ante with In The Grey, an action-packed film from director Guy Ritchie, produced by Lionsgate and starring Henry Cavill, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Eiza González. As of this writing, the film follows two agents and a woman working together to secure millions of dollars.

New Wave of Filipino Taste

Apart from distributing quality films to select Southeast Asian countries, CreaZion Studios brings global stories created by Filipinos to audiences worldwide.

Moreover, this Feb-ibig season, CreaZion Studios embarks on a powerhouse collaboration with GMA Pictures with Everything About My Wife, directed by award-winning filmmaker and multi-hyphenate creative Real Florido. The movie is a romantic comedy that holds up a societal mirror to the complex layers of romantic relationships, especially among married couples. Showing nationwide in the Philippines on February 26, this film invites everyone to feel all the feelings—and unpack them with their loved ones.

Flower Girl is a dark comedy coming to cinemas, marking another powerful collaboration between The IdeaFirst Company, Octobertrain Films, and CreaZion Studios. The film stars Sue Ramirez, Jameson Blake, and Martin del Rosario, alongside KaladKaren and Maxie Andreison. Written and directed by Fatrick Tabada—known for Patay Na Si Hesus, Mahal Kita, Beksman, and Born Beautiful.

Watch out for more

CreaZion Studios also has two major surprises in store for TV viewers and streaming connoisseurs. On one hand, they are preparing to adapt a well-loved big international drama franchise that has captivated audiences worldwide. On the other, a special treat for beauty and fashion lovers alike—a series that centers around role of women in the beauty industry and how they empower each other in this cut-throat world, in collaboration with a major network.

Also, for every Southeast Asian viewer’s pleasure, CreaZion Studios remains committed to distributing and producing world-class content that resonates with everyone.

“As we start rolling out our content for 2025, we invite everyone to escape with us into the stories we have carefully curated for the ASEAN region. We hope these stories create safe spaces, allowing audiences to fully experience the films and TV series we bring,” concluded CreaZion Studios President and CEO, Anter San Agustin.
