Netflix Finds: Korean Dramas You Should Watch

Annyeong! Last time, we explored Korean action dramas, and now, we’re diving into another exciting part of K-dramas for this #NetflixFinds!

Netflix Finds: Korean Dramas You Should Watch

Whether you’re looking for something to pass the time or a new story to fangirl over, we’ve got you covered! Over the past few months, I’ve watched a variety of shows, from anime, and cartoons, to Western and Korean dramas. Furthermore, I’ve handpicked a k-drama selection just for you, in case you haven’t seen them yet.

Doctors

This K-drama is one I’d highly recommend if you’re looking for a series with a great plot, action genre, and outstanding acting. The characters are well-written, each with their own complexities that make them captivating. Plus, this medical drama delves into the romance genre, adding even more intrigue to the show.

The Doctors primarily focuses on the story of Yoo Hye-jung (Park Shin-hye), a once troubled student. Despite her struggles, she meets a teacher who inspires her to change for the better. This inspiration serves as a catalyst, helping her pursue a career in the medical field years later. Furthermore, there’s still more in this series than these, you can watch more of it on Netflix!

Hi Bye, Mama!

Prepare your tissues as you watch— you’ve been warned. If you’re looking for a heart-wrenching, yet satisfying Korean series, I’d definitely bring this one up to the table. But that’s not all, this series also includes comedic effects to lighten up those moments.

Hi Bye, Mama! follows the story of Cha Yu-ri (Kim Tae-hee), a new mother who tragically passes away. However, something extraordinary happens, explaining why Yu-ri remains in the world. It’s a touching reminder of how a genuine mother’s love can truly work wonders.

Blood Free

This one isn’t available on Netflix, but you can find it on Disney Plus. Moreover, this one also offers a fresh and intriguing plot, perfect for us seasoned K-drama fans who want something new.

Blood Free centers on BF, a successful company that pioneered genetically engineered cultured meat. As some employees start to question the ethics behind the company’s operations, things quickly spiral out of control. The plot follows Woo Chae Woon (Ju Ji-hoon), a bodyguard hired to infiltrate BF. However, his mission takes an unexpected turn when he uncovers the company’s true intentions: will he neglect his first mission?

There’s an array of captivating Korean dramas across all streaming platforms, but these are the ones that truly captured my heart and interest. How about you? What are your top 3 Korean series?
