The Pipol’s Final Choice: VPCA’s Final 20 for the Sexiest Award
This 2025, PIPOL mgZn and Village Pipol proudly launched two new titles for VP Choice Awards (VPCA)—the Face of the Year and Sexiest of the Year Award. Both awards aim to recognize influential people that the Pipol deem worthy of the titles.
The Face of the Year Award is intended to celebrate artists who embody beauty, confidence, and character. VPCA gives the award to the public figure who best represents both appeal and influence. Meanwhile, the Sexiest of the Year Award honors those who embody confidence, allure, and presence. Moreover, beyond physical attributes, VPCA also considers artists who naturally exude charisma and authenticity.
Furthermore, starting August 10 until December 15, 2025, fans locked in their votes for various celebrities and influencers who they believed were the best fit for the award.
As the new year ushers in a new beginning for everyone, it also brings the final list of 20 nominees for VPCA’s Sexiest. Among the 20, the question remains—who will win the title? We are yet to uncover the winner as the Pipol are yet to pick and choose their favorites.
Before the final voting starts on January 14, 2026, let us get to know and examine each nominee from the final list.

Perlas Funtanares is a Filipino digital content creator best known for her comedy sketches and lifestyle vlogs on TikTok and YouTube. With her relatable humor and engaging personality, she has a strong online following that resonates with Gen Z audiences.
- AZ Martinez
AZ Martinez is a Filipino actress under GMA Network’s Sparkle Artist Center and a beauty pageant queen. She recently gained public recognition as a housemate in the first Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition. However, before entering the entertainment industry, AZ joined several beauty pageants.
- Jas Scales
Jas Escales is a Filipino actress, model, and former housemate from Pinoy Big Brother: Gen 11. She was known as the “Optimistic Ate of Dumaguete” for her positive energy and journey on the reality show. She is currently an artist under ABS-CBN’s Star Magic.
- Shuvee Etrata
Shuvee Etrata is a Filipino actress, model, and host. In 2023, she was a cast member of Hearts on Ice. Her popularity rose when she joined the first Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition. Shuvee also portrays Veshdita in the fantasy-drama series Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre.

Dustin Yu is a Filipino actor and television personality who gained popularity when he joined the first Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition. Known for his charm, he has since ventured into the industry, gradually building his presence. He recently starred in two Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2025 entries: Love You So Bad and Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origins.
- Niko Badayos
Niko Badayos is a Filipino singer, actor, and model under Cornerstone Entertainment. His career kickstarted at the reality survival show, Top Class, and he was later revealed to be a member of the boy group, Yes My Love. He also appeared in different web dramas like Hook Up, and Unguarded.
- Christian Martinez
Christian Martinez is a Filipino fashion and lifestyle content creator on Tikok. Recently, he appeared as a guest on the variety show All-Out Sundays. Christian also appeared on the noontime show It’s Showtime alongside other content creators.
- Ralph De Leon
Ralph De Leon is a Filipino actor, model, and judoka. He gained popularity upon joining the first Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition. Ralph played Dr. Kevin Gonzales in the drama-mystery series High Street. He also debuted on the big screen with his appearance on one of the MMFF 2025 entries, Love You So Bad.

Additionally, She signed with Star Magic in 2021, and since then she has starred in different series. She rose to fame with her role in the television series Can’t Buy Me Love.
- Sachzna
Sachzna is a prominent Filipino social media influencer, vlogger, model, and actress. Her content can be found across different platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. Moreover, She shares personal experiences, as well as different lifestyle and comedy content.
- Sara Joe
Sara Joe is a Filipino-American actor and model signed under Viva Artists Agency. She gained recognition with her roles in the series Ang Mutya ng Section E and Safe Skies, Archer. Sara also played the role of Shaira Silos in Seducing Drake Palma.
- Jackie Gonzaga
Jackie Gonzaga, also known as Ate Girl Jackie, is a Filipino dancer, actress, and television presenter. Since 2019, she has been one of It’s Showtime’s hosts. Alden Richards is a well-known Filipino actor and television presenter. His first on-screen appearance was in the fantasy drama Alakdana. He rose to stardom in the romantic sketch Kalyeserye, being the other half of Eat Bulaga’s AlDub. Alden also starred in two of the highest-grossing Filipino films: Hello, Love, Goodbye and Hello, Love, Again.
- Josh Cullen
Jos Cullen is a Filipino singer-rapper, dancer, producer, and songwriter. He is more known as the Pinoy pop group SB19’s lead rapper, lead dancer, and subvocalist. Josh has appeared in multiple radio and television outlets, even landing a nomination in the Billboard Music Awards with his group.

Vince Maristela is a Filipino actor who also entered the first Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition as a housemate. He gained recognition after joining the show. However, he was first seen on the variety show All-Out Sundays. Vince also plays the role of Akiro Nuñez in Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre.

- Maris Racal
Maris Racal is a Filipino actress and singer-songwriter. She rose to national prominence in 2014 as the runner-up of Pinoy Big Brother: All In. In 2025, she starred in a critically acclaimed film Sunshine. Maris also played Gab in the action-thriller series Incognito.
- Heaven Peralejo
Heaven Peralejo is a Filipino actress and model. Her career in the entertainment industry started when she joined Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky Season 7. She remains popular with her role as Luna in the University Series.
- Nadine Lustre
Nadine Lustre is an acclaimed Filipino actress. She is regarded as one of the most prominent figures in Philippine entertainment, often called “President Nadine” by her fans. Nadine rose to fame through the film Diary ng Panget and the hit teleserye On the Wings of Love. She recently starred in an MMFF 2025 entry, Call Me Mother.

- Kyle Echarri
Kyle Echarri is a Filipino-American singer and actor. He first gained public recognition as a semi-finalist in the second season of the talent show The Voice Kids in 2015. Kyle rose to fame with his role in the teleserye Kadenang Ginto. He is currently playing the role of Olsen Bonifacio in the action-drama series Roja.
- Naia Ching
Naia Ching is a Filipino actor and content creator who produces content centered on fitness, specifically workout routines, nutrition tips, and mental well-being. He has made appearances in film and television. His first screen appearance was in the game show Family Feud. Naia recently became a part of Rod Marmol’s upcoming film entitled Wander Lust.

Julie Anne San Jose is a multi-awarded Filipino singer-songwriter, actress, and host. She is known as “Asia’s Limitless Star” with her musical legacy, as she is the youngest recipient of a Diamond Record Award. Outside her musical career, Julie Anne starred in the series Maria Clara at Ibarra.
- Kaori Oinuma
Kaori Oinuma is a Filipino-Japanese actress and model known for being a finalist in Pinoy Big Brother: Otso. She is best known for her role as Michiko in the series He’s Into Her. Kaori also appeared in the movie Meet, Greet & Bye.
- Angel Guardian
Signed under GMA Network’s Sparkle Artist Center, Angel Guardian is a Filipino-Palestinian actress and recording artist. She stars in Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre as Deia, the new keeper of the “air gem.” Lastly, Angel also earned the title of the first “Ultimate Runner” in Running Man Philippines 2022.
- Xyriel Manabat
Xyriel Manabat is a widely known Filipino actress who started her career as a child star. Today, she is a versatile “new gen” leading lady. She recently starred in the film Kontrabida Academy. Xyriel also joined the first Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition.
- Janella Salvador
Janella Salvador is a multi-talented Filipino actress, singer, and performer. Furthermore, she is known for both her range in acting and her music. One of her notable roles is her performance as Valentina and Regina Vanguardia in the television series Darna. She is currently preparing for her major solo concert, Under the Influence.

- Kobe Chan
Kobe Chan is a Filipino-Chinese social media personality and model. Futhermore, he participated in local events such as Mr. Chinatown Philippines 2025 where he gained public recognition. Since then, he has appeared on television and radio shows like DZMM.
- Argel Saycon
Argel Saycon is a Filipino actor signed under Star Magic. He began his career in the entertainment industry on Pinoy Big Brother: Otso. Following PBB, he appeared in various television series and movies. Significantly, he recently played the role of Jake in the microdrama When Brothers Fall alongside Jas Scales.
- Clyde Garcia
Part of the Pinoy pop scene, Clyde Garcia is a Filipino pop singer and performer signed under GKD Labels. He is a member of the pre-debut boy group, ECLYPSE. He is best known for his appearance as a contestant on the reality survival show Top Class.
- David Licauco
David Licauco is a Filipino actor, model, and entrepreneur. He is widely known for his role as Malik in Mulawin vs. Ravena and Fidel in Maria Clara at Ibarra. Notably, following the success of Maria Clara at Ibarra, he also portrayed the character Hiroshi in the historical drama series Pulang Araw.

Make your final choice
With the final nominees now revealed, the final voting window opens on January 15 and ends on February 14, 2026. The power now shifts to the fans. With less than a month to cast their votes, fans must make their final choice through the VP Choice Awards app and Web Voting Portal.
50% of the public votes will determine the Top 3 winners who will be given a chance to take home the VPCA Black Obelisk Trophy. The other 50% will come from the Panel of Judges and the Editorial Teams of Village Pipol and PIPOL mgZn.
Village Pipol and PIPOL mgZn will also feature the winners, showcasing their wits and talents. In addition, the grand winner will be granted a special magazine cover feature.
Once the Pipol make their choice, all will be unveiled in the upcoming VP Choice Awards in April 2026.
