Sparkle Campus Cuties Season 2 Names Frances Lacap and Rayu Gravador as Ultimate Winners

The Sparkle Campus Cutie Season 2 finale took place on August 9 at GMA Studios. Moreover, the grand finale named Frances Lacap and Rayu Gravador as this season’s Ultimate Winners.

Among the Top 20 finalists, Frances and Rayu captured attention by the PIPOL and the Judges throughout the competition. Consequently, both contestants earned exclusive contracts with Sparkle GMA Artists Center.

Known as “Ang Go-getter Influencer ng New Manila” and “Ang Cutie Lover Boy ng Bulacan,” respectively, they charmed audiences. Meanwhile, their performances impressed the nine-member judging panel.

A Celebration of Sparkle’s Next Stars

The finale also welcomed Season 1 winner Mad Ramos, who delivered a fun group showcase of “Beauty and the Beat.” Furthermore, Season 1 finalists Ralph Miaco, Andrei Fajardo, Migs Concepcion, Mateo Monsones, and Winston Stalk joined him during the awarding of winners.

GMA Network and Sparkle executives also showed their full support during the highly anticipated finale. Among them, GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes led the delegation.

Also present were Sparkle First Vice President Joy Marcelo and Senior Assistant Vice President Anne Puno-Ignacio. Additionally, Assistant Vice Presidents Jenny Donato and Tracy Garcia joined the celebration.

Creative writer-director Aloy Adlawan also attended the finale. Meanwhile, Vice President Gigi Santiago-Lara represented Musical, Variety, Specials, and Alternative Productions.

Judges Put Celebrity Potential to the Test

To determine the contestants’ celebrity potential, a nine-member judging panel evaluated their performances. Moreover, the judges assessed contestants through three major challenges.

The panel included Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, Joy Marcelo, Aloy Adlawan, Neil Gumban, Sofia Pablo, and Josh Ford. Additionally, Clifford, Marco Agana, and Nat Manilag completed the judging panel.

Special Awards Recognize Standout Contestants

Before announcing the major results, the organizers presented several special awards. Moreover, these recognitions highlighted contestants who made memorable impressions throughout the competition.

Ethan Bañares and Mary Francine Pamintuan received the GMA Playlist Choice Award. Meanwhile, Ethan Bañares and Frances Lacap secured the Studio Who Star Awards.

Rayu Gravador earned the TikTok Live Viewers Choice Award. Additionally, Mateo Artadi and Euanne Preglo received Social Media Favorites 2nd Placers recognition.

Meet the Top 10

Following the contestants’ performances, the competition narrowed the field to 10 finalists. Moreover, the Top 10 faced an impromptu question-and-answer challenge.

The challenge tested their ability to think quickly and respond confidently under pressure. The Top 10 included Rayu Gravador, Frances Lacap, Geanne Castro, Madoxx Miguel, Mhai Arekat, Enzo Torrano, Abi Arnold, Rion Cheng, Ysa Prats, and Ronnie Pasamba.

The Final Top 6

After the judges’ deliberation, six contestants advanced to the final round. Moreover, the Top 6 consisted of Ysa Prats, Enzo Torrano, Ronnie Pasamba, Abi Arnold, Rayu Gravador, and Frances Lacap.

All six finalists secured exclusive five-year contracts with Sparkle GMA Artist Center. Consequently, the competition opened another exciting chapter for these emerging talents.

In the final reveal, Ysa Prats and Enzo Torrano earned the 2nd Runner-Up honors. Meanwhile, Ronnie Pasamba and Abi Arnold claimed the 1st Runner-Up honors.

At the top, Rayu Gravador and Frances Lacap officially became the Ultimate Winners. Furthermore, their victory marks the beginning of their journey with Sparkle GMA Artist Center.
