The 7th VP Choice Awards: PIPOL Face & Sexiest of 2025 Panel of Judges
PIPOL mgZn and Village Pipol Magazine, together with the 7th VP Choice Awards (VPCA), proudly bring forward the highly anticipated Pipol’s Choice 2025. This special recognition honors the country’s most beautiful, handsome faces and sexiest personalities of the year.
Through this collaboration, the 7th VP Choice Awards introduces the special titles, Face of the Year and Sexiest of the Year, while simultaneously strengthening Pipol’s role in recognizing personalities whose influence extends beyond appearance into cultural relevance and real impact. Moreover, nominees selected through the Pi-PoLL voting system earn an exclusive PIPOL mgZn feature. While winners receive VPCA trophies and a coveted invitation to a PIPOL mgZn cover.
Voting Breakdown and Judging Process
As final voting via the VPCA App concludes, the awards now move into the decisive judging phase.
The final results are determined through the following scoring system:
- 50% – Public Votes
- 20% – Panel of Judges
- 30% – Village Pipol and PIPOL mgZn Editorial Team
The decisive judging phase took place on Thursday, February 12, at Ambergris Cafe in Pasig City. The distinguished Panel of Judges conducted an in-depth deliberation alongside the PIPOL mgZn and the Village Pipol Magazine Editorial Team.
Following the formal introduction of each nominee and the presentation of their projects, advocacies, and accomplishments, the panel carried out a thorough evaluation. They gave close attention to each nominee’s appeal and influence. And through the collective expertise and distinct professional perspectives of the judges, a balanced and credible deliberation is ensured. Ultimately, they determined the most deserving recipients of the Face of the Year and Sexiest of the Year titles.
Meet the Judges
The 7th VP Choice Awards entrusted the selection process to a distinguished panel of leaders from beauty, healthcare, fitness, entrepreneurship, and the creative industries.
Ms. Denice Sy – Ever Bilena Cosmetics, Inc.
As Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of Ever Bilena Cosmetics, Inc., Denice Sy leads one of the Philippines’ most iconic homegrown beauty brands with vision and purpose. Moreover, as part of the second-generation leadership, she drives brand relevance, digital growth, and consumer-centric strategies in an evolving market. Beyond corporate leadership, she also serves on the board of the Chamber of Cosmetics Industry of the Philippines. As a board member, she actively champions collaboration and the global advancement of Filipino beauty brands.
Dr. Darwin Ferrolino – VariaHealth
As President and CEO of VariaHealth, Dr. Darwin Ferrolino leads an integrated center for dentistry, medicine, and esthetics with a strong focus on elevated healthcare standards. Additionally, he serves as Vice President of Advenue Media Corporation, Co-Founder of Aeon Security Services, and Board Director of the Philippine Dental Association – Quezon City Chapter. Holding degrees from the University of the East Manila and the University of Santo Tomas, he consistently champions excellence, leadership, and holistic wellness across industries.
Mr. JC Reyes – Health & Fitness Trainer
As a professional fitness coach from Fitness First, JC Reyes promotes a holistic approach to training that goes beyond aesthetics. Furthermore, his coaching philosophy emphasizes strength, confidence, and overall well-being. And consistently guiding individuals toward becoming healthier and stronger versions of themselves. His perspective reinforces the value of discipline, balance, and sustainable lifestyle choices.
Ms. Nina Caluang – Entrepreneur / TV Commercial Artist
As an entrepreneur and seasoned commercial artist, Nina Caluang brings extensive experience across radio, television, and live theater. Moreover, she continues to refine her craft through acting and production work while actively participating in talent competitions nationwide. Frequently invited as a judge, she offers a rare dual perspective, as an industry professional and an engaged audience member. Making her insights deeply grounded and relatable.
Mr. John Recepcion – Content Creator / Lifestyle & Fashion Stylist
As a content creator and a Lifestyle & Fashion Stylist, John Recepcion brings a unique blend of technical precision and creative storytelling. Furthermore, he collaborates on photoshoots, event styling, and digital campaigns while building a strong presence across multiple platforms. His perspective reinforces the value of authenticity, creative expression, and refined style, highlighting individuals who embody confidence, character, and presence.

Final Rankings
Based on the combined scores from public votes, judges’ evaluations, and editorial assessments, the final rankings will be determined and featured in the inaugural print issue of PIPOL mgZn. Meanwhile, the Top 3 winners from each category will receive VPCA trophies and a special magazine feature celebrating their achievement.
The Face of the Year award is presented by Ever Bilena Cosmetics, with support from VariaHealth and FLEEK, and will be conferred during the 7th VP Choice Awards Night on April 29, 2026, alongside a star-studded red carpet celebration.
