The Pipol’s Choice: Making Every Click Count for the 7th VPCA Nomination

A new set of nominees awaits the Pipol for the seventh time around. Who has the power to influence their choice?

The 7th VP Choice Awards (VPCA) adopted a new nomination process that seeks to encourage active participation and increased engagement from the Pipol while empowering institutions to recognize the country’s most notable personalities in the travel, lifestyle, and entertainment industries as official nominees.

Similar to the previous years, the process still consists of the following:

Public Nominations
Focus Group Discussions (FGD)
Agency and Institutional Nominations, which was introduced in 2024
Pi-PoLL Power Pick, where poll winners earn an automatic nomination slot through public voting

The Pipol hold the power to choose who deserves the spotlight! From October 5 to November 30, 2025, everyone can send in their nominations for the 7th VPCA. For this year, a few categories under the Entertainment Division will have a single automatic candidate chosen through the Pi-PoLL Power Pick. On the other hand, the VP and PIPOL Editorial Team will review the remaining slots, including the FGD evaluation process.

On nominations by the Pipol

There are three ways to nominate, starting with public nomination. The Pipol can use four different platforms which are mainly social media applications—Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, and the official VPCA App or Website. Accordingly, there are different guidelines for each platform.

- Leave a comment of the person’s name or the brand you wish to nominate under the post. Do not forget to include the hashtag #7thVPCANominate.

- Follow PIPOL and VP Choice Awards.
- The organizers publish official nomination posts for each category under Entertainment (TV, Movie, Music, Social Media) and Lifestyle from October 5 to November 30, 2025.
- Quote the official nomination post and write the person’s name or the brand. Make sure to use the hashtag #7thVPCANominate.

Via VPCA App or Website
- Download the VPCA App through the App Store or the Google Play Store or visit: vpchoiceawards.com/nomination
- Using the app, go to the Pi-PoLL tab and tap on the Nominate banner. There is also an uploaded web version on the website.
- Using the link provided, click on the Nomination tab. Fill out the nomination form and do not forget to click the submit button.

After the public nominations, the VP and PIPOL Editorial Team pre-select nominees through social media listening. The editorial team, other industry experts, and FGDs tightly evaluate all the nominations.

Meanwhile, the organizers will send official invitations to different agencies, organizations, and institutions, nominating representatives in selected award categories for agency and institutional nomination, starting November 2025.

On voting through Pi-PoLL Power Pick

Alternatively, a special nomination pathway also allows the Pipol to directly nominate their favorites in pre-selected categories. The Pi-PoLL Power Pick grants the Pipol the power to vote specific individuals. The winners from each Pi-PoLL voting get a headstart by scoring an automatic nomination spot prior to the editorial review.

The voting period for each batch runs for 15 days with free votes every hour using the Pi-PoLL Power Pick. The organizers release weekly vote updates twice a week—every Wednesday and Friday—on VPCA’s official social media accounts. They strictly monitor the voting process with the help of the Choicely system to ensure security.

The first batch of voting for “Breakthrough Star” and “Fandom” runs from September 30 to October 15, 2025, followed by the second batch for “Solo Performer of the Year” and “Love Team of the Year” which runs from October 16 to 31, 2025.

The third batch of voting for “Promising Female” and “Promising Male” runs from November 1 to 15, 2025, followed by the second batch of voting for “Rising P-Pop Group” and “TikTok Star,” running from November 16 to 30, 2025.

Finally, once all the categories are announced, the last batch of voting officially opens from December 1 to 15, 2025.

On strict compliance and guidelines

Every click counts—only when rules and guidelines are followed. The VP Choice Awards editorial team and the Choicely app work hand in hand to monitor every poll, making sure that only votes following the official Voting Rules and Procedures are tallied.

To keep things fair, the system forbids audiences to use third-party voting services. The Choicely app detects third-party voting services using its built-in anti-bot security measures. The organizers also encourage voters to keep the VPCA App installed to prevent data loss.. However, fret not as previous votes are still counted and locked in on Choicely’s server.

At the end of each voting period, Choicely automatically audits and recounts all votes, removing spam and entries made through unauthorized systems. The VPCA and Choicely administrators hold the right to veto votes coming from dishonest and unfair behavior, guaranteeing that only deserving individuals and brands receive recognition.

Once the final list of nominees is released, the Pipol can cast their votes through Choicely, VPCA’s official voting app partner, from February to March 2026. The celebration of excellence reaches its peak at the 7th VP Choice Awards this coming April 2026—where the Pipol and their choices voice shine brightest!
