Yeng releases 10th anniversary version of ‘Ikaw’

Pop-Rock Superstar and Cornerstone artist Yeng Constantino released the 10^th anniversary version of her mega hit love song “Ikaw” on October 25, 2024. Distributed by Cornerstone Music – the official record label of Cornerstone Entertainment. 

“Ikaw” beautifully expresses themes of love and devotion. The song showcases Yeng’s powerful vocals and emotional delivery, capturing the essence of longing and commitment. Moreover, its relatable lyrics resonate with Filipinos, making it a favorite in the OPM scene. The melody, both soothing and uplifting, highlights the deep connection between the singer and her beloved. A poignant tribute to love’s enduring power.

The arrangement reveals the most notable difference in the 10th anniversary version of this heartfelt track. With the incorporation of string instruments, this version aims to give off a more wedding-esque vibe. Stemming from the song’s original music video which features her wedding with now-husband Yan Asuncion.

On a related note, the original music video of “Ikaw” currently has 143 million views, making it one of the most viewed OPM music videos of all time. 

The 10^th anniversary version was first heard in public during Yeng’s guest appearance on the October 6 episode of ASAP Natin ‘To. 

The track was arranged and produced by Ria Villena-Osorio. Yeng herself also co-produced the track. Furthermore, “Ikaw (10^th Anniversary Version)” is now available to stream on all major music streaming platforms. On October 27, Yeng released a surprise performance video on her official YouTube channel.
