5th VP Choice Awards: DonBelle, KDLex Big Winners in TV Category
In a star-studded celebration, the 5th VP Choice Awards honored the best and brightest in the entertainment industry. Among the evening’s standout winners were new generation loveteams, Belle Mariano and Donny Pangilinan, and KD Estrada and Alexa Ilacad.
Following the theme Celestial Radiance: A Night of Luminous Elegance, this highly engaged local award-giving body orchestrated by Village Pipol and Red Entertainment Inc. recognizes the stars across various industries, shining light on their excellence and impact on pop culture and entertainment.
DonBelle Domination at the 5th VP Choice Awards
Belle Mariano and Donny Pangilinan’s chemistry in “Can’t Buy Me Love” captured the hearts of viewers. This propelled the series to the coveted title of Primetime TV Series of the Year. Their onscreen magic and undeniable kilig power breathed life into their characters, providing viewers an unforgettable experience. With this, the PIPOL have chosen them too as the Loveteam of the Year.
This loveteam continued to show their power as both actors have also won individual awards. Donny and Belle bagged the TV Actor and Actress of the Year for Primetime respectively.
Moreover, Belle Mariano’s stellar performance in her concert “Beloved” further solidified her position in the industry. Her versatility and talent continue to inspire the PIPOL, leaving a lasting impact with every role she undertakes. With this, she earned her a well-deserved title of Performer of the Year.
The devoted fanbase of DonBelle, lovingly referred to as the BUBBLIES, has rightfully won the Fandom of the Year. Their boundless love and unwavering dedication to DonBelle has made them as one of the best fandom in the country.
KDLex: Gems of Philippine Entertainment
Shining light on another new generation love team, KD Estrada and Alexa Ilacad also won acting awards. With their mesmerizing portrayals in “Pira-Pirasong Paraiso,” the PIPOL has given them the title of TV Actor and Actress of the Year for Afternoon. Their remarkable talent and dedication to their craft were evident in every scene. This has made them deserving recipients of this prestigious award.
This rising sweet duo were also nominated for Loveteam of the Year, Fandom of the Year, and TV Series for the Year (Afternoon Show).
These two actors met within the walls of the Big Brother house just a few years ago. During the show, fans noticed how they easily clicked and the overflowing chemistry between them. A few months after the show, KD and Alexa were officially launched as KDLex.
