Casa Amores: A Home Where Love Stories Come To Life

Starting a business, especially after the pandemic, has been challenging for most go-getters and aspiring entrepreneurs. While the economy was slowly recovering, many have scaled down their lifestyle to meet the new normal. And despite the economic factors hindering businesses from staying afloat, Casa Amores opened its doors in 2023.

Tucked within a quiet neighborhood, Casa Amores is a home studio evolved into a dedicated multifunctional space. Catering to different forms of artistry. True to its vision, it became a creative venue for couples and families who want to create a timeless memory. And to offer something softer than the usual commercial studios around the metro.

The Casa carries a quiet charm that feels both intentional and effortless, as it doesn’t ask its guests to adjust to the space. Instead, the space adjusts to them.

What sets the younger generation of entrepreneurs apart from others is their eagerness to fulfill their ambitions from the ground up.

Situated in Horseshoe Village in Quezon City, Casa Amores stands as a space built with true intention. Through a shared vision of Gus Amores and Ish Sison, and with Ish’s experience and network in the industry, they were able to establish something meaningful together. They saw a good opportunity to create a space that could serve both industry professionals and everyday clients looking for something more personal.

After the pandemic, we noticed that a demand for intimate and flexible venues in Metro Manila was rising. Studios became a safe creative space for different forms of artistry, a sanctuary to capture love and family dynamics, and a hub for making timeless connections. From that, we have decided to create our own,” Gus and Ish said.

Their journey, however, was challenging. Gus and Ish initially planned to find an existing house and convert it into a studio, without a specific niche in mind. But seeing that the direction they were going into didn’t give them the sense of fulfillment, they have decided to cater to couples and families, and the best way to do so was to provide a space that was warm, welcoming, and lived-in.

Gus said, “Once we saw that house in Horseshoe Village, we fell in love with it immediately. It had great character, and we knew that it was where we wanted to build our studio. Built in the 70s, it has natural light, is multi-level, has textured walls, and roomy outdoor corners. It didn’t feel commercial at all. It was a blank canvas and needed some work, but it was filled with vintage charm, which we used it to our advantage.”

Remarkably, the result is a space that feels curated, but never forced. Elevated, but never intimidating.

While Casa Amores hosts a range of shoots and gatherings from brand campaigns to intimate events, it has found its heart in prenuptial sessions. Designed with couples in mind, the studio offers a setting where love stories can unfold naturally, without pressure or pretense.

At Casa Amores, stepping into a space allows them to be fully present. The warmth of the environment softens the experience. Making room for genuine moments, quiet glances, shared laughter, and everything in between.

Gus and Ish said, “Our intent was to provide a private venue wherein soon-to-be-weds can capture their love stories and highlight their chemistry. Casa Amores’ vibe is warm, familiar, and elegant on purpose, as we believe that it allows the couple to comfortably be themselves, even when they are surrounded by their whole team.”

Looking ahead, the vision is clear to them. To exist in the space between a commercial studio and a private home. Not just in form, but in feeling. A place that already feels romantic before the camera even clicks. A place that feels curated, not rented.

And perhaps, that’s what makes Casa Amores linger long after a visit. It isn’t just remembered as a location, but as an experience, one that quietly answers a simple need: If you want something beautiful, personal, and elevated, or a multi-setup lifestyle studio that’s best for a wedding and campaign shoot, Casa Amores is where you go.

Speaking from experience, this is where PIPOL mgZn did the shoot for the February cover story
