Shuvee Etrata and Klarisse De Guzman is Pi-PoLL’s Favorite Housemates of PBB: Celebrity Collab Edition

In celebration of its 20th anniversary, Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) made history with its third celebrity edition through a historic team-up between ABS-CBN and GMA Network—something that once seemed impossible.

Premiering on March 9, PBB: Celebrity Collab Edition aired for the first time on the Kapuso network, introducing 20 new and familiar faces from both Star Magic (ABS-CBN) and Sparkle (GMA Network) as official celebrity housemates. This special season featured the twist of “Duo Housemates,” pairing one Kapamilya and one Kapuso in challenges that tested their chemistry and resilience. After weeks of trials, four duos emerged as the official Final Big 4: — Esnyr Ranollo & Charlie Fleming (ChaRes), Ralph de Leon & Will Ashley (RaWi), River Joseph & AZ Martinez (AzVer) and Brent Manalo & Mika Salamanca (BreKa)

Ahead of the Big Night this July, the VP Choice Awards conducted a Pi-PoLL to discover which housemates captured the hearts of the Pipol throughout the run of the season.

PiPoLL’s Favorite PBB Celebrity Collab Housemates

With an overwhelming number of votes, Klarisse de Guzman and Shuvee Entrata, collectively known as ShuKla, topped the polls with 52.45% and 31.86% respectively—earning the title of Pi-PoLL’s Favorite Housemates. Their chemistry, relatability, and viral moments endeared them to both online audiences and casual viewers alike. Who could forget Klarisse’s iconic “OA” moment or Shuvee’s witty “TDH” (Tall, Dark, and Handsome) remark about guest housemate Donny Pangilinan?

Klarisse De Guzman – Kapamilya Celebrity Housemate

Klarisse de Guzman, dubbed the “Kwela Soul Diva ng Antipolo,” is a Kapamilya artist and ASAP mainstay who rose to fame as the runner-up in The Voice of the Philippines in 2013. She later won Your Face Sounds Familiar in 2021.

Her stint inside the PBB house allowed audiences to see a different side of her—beyond her powerful vocals, viewers witnessed her fun-loving personality, culinary skills, and her proud revelation of being part of the LGBTQIA+ community. Her viral “OA” confrontation with fellow housemate Dustin Yu became an online favorite.

Shuvee Etrata – Kapuso Celebrity Housemate

Meanwhile, Shuvee Etrata, dubbed “Ang Island Ate ng Cebu,” entered the house as one of the last Kapuso celebrity housemates. She previously made headlines after being labeled the “Starlet of GMA”—a tag that made her feel sorry for her mother network, GMA, which had been doing everything it could to support and build homegrown talents like her. Meanwhile, she is set to be part of the upcoming sequel of hit fantaserye, Encantadia: Sang’gre Chronicles, playing the role of Veshtita.

Spotlight with ShukLa after PBB

Beyond their in-house popularity, the ShuKla duo continues to gain traction post-PBB. Shuvee recently surpassed 1 million followers on Instagram—one of the highest gained followings among this season’s housemates—while Klarisse is preparing for her upcoming concert. Together, they’re securing endorsements and gaining recognition, proving the enduring power of their tandem.

Klarisse and Shuvee are testaments to the magic of Pinoy Big Brother—a platform that brings out new facets of celebrity personalities and opens doors for fresh opportunities. As ShuKla continues to rise, the Pipol are clearly not done loving them just yet.

The 7th VP Choice Awards Nomination is coming!

As part of the Pi-PoLL activities, and with Shuvee and Klarisse emerging as the top favorites in this poll, they are now one step closer to possibly securing official nominations for the upcoming 7th VP Choice Awards. Further details on the nomination process will be announced once the official nominations are unveiled this October.
