YENG IN HER TWO DECADES AS A POP ARTIST
In an industry where popularity can change in any minute, to sustain a job in showbiz is a big deal. New artists may come to grab the limelight, and having the courage to continue a passion is something worth celebrating. Yeng Constantino, a well known artist in the Philippines, is already at her two decades in the music industry.
A living proof that hard work builds a life for the dreamer that she is since day one. Her consistency, genuine love for her job, and her willingness to experience the real life make her achieve these blessings.
Her journey began in Pinoy Dream Academy on 2006. Crowned as first grand star dreamer, Yeng became one of the OPM’s most well-known singer-songwriters. She has been building a career that is more than her performances and records. Through her songs, she is able to let Filipinos become part of their own stories.
Believe it or not, for all of us, there is always a Yeng song for every season of our lives.
May it be about falling in love, being heart broken, sending gratitude, looking for the light and finding the courage, or yearning for someone. Her music has always a part in everybody’s journey in life.

Yeng‘s Songs Are Relatable To Fans
How can we not mention Yeng’s “Hawak-Kamay,” “Ikaw,” “Salamat,” and “Chinito.” These songs definitely remind you of the Pop-Royalty in the Philippines due to their unique stories and catchy melodies.
Her songwriting is rooted in deep emotions because Yeng tells stories and makes her fans feel the song as if it was written about them or for them.
There’s this kind of magic in Yeng Constantino. For she is not only aiming to sing the song, her singing has emotions. Every word that comes out from it portrays a story that is relatable for every individual.
Over the years, music has also been growing alongside Yeng. At her prime, as a young artist who captured the public’s attention and adored her has grown into a woman that she is now– a version of Yeng who is more experienced in life, the Yeng who carries lots of baggages already in her long way in the industry, and the same artist who is able to bring all of those encounters into her craft.
Love, personal growth, gratitude, faith, heartbreak, and every inch of different experiences that come along with growing up in a world that has many colors.
This might be the sole reason why listeners choose to stay with her– because Yeng is an artist whose purpose is not only to fulfill her duty as an artist, but deliver a story for those who need it.
For some, her songs are just a piece of nostalgia, trying to reach the OG fans and make them feel the same feeling as they listen to the old song as it was. For others, it is a soundtrack of their lives. That’s why for Yeng, her music and its connection to people is more important than charts and numbers.

This event will be held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on August 28, 2026. Not only that– this September, she will also be performing “Biyaheng Bente” in Cebu for her 20th anniversary.
The one-night event, titled “Biyaheng Bente Cebu,” will take place on September 20 at SM Seaside Cebu Arena.
A time to share to the world that she comes a long way. Through this, fans around the globe can revisit the songs from different chapters of her journey as an artist. Most especially, the stories of the people who listen to them throughout the years.
This is an opportunity for long-time fans and new listeners to sing along with the one and only Pop-Rock Royalty.
After twenty-long-years, she remains popular in OPM. As she allows herself to grow with the ups and downs of life, she is ready for another round.
After all, stories are everywhere. Sometimes, it only takes one artist who can tell and represent them and turn them into songs.
And at 20 years of being that artist, Yeng continuously grants this gift to all of us.
